1. About DimeCart

DimeCart operates an online multi-vendor marketplace at dimecart.lk that connects independent sellers with buyers in Sri Lanka. DimeCart provides the platform and related services; it is not the seller or manufacturer of the products listed, unless expressly stated. Each purchase is a contract between you and the relevant seller.

2. Acceptance of terms

By browsing, creating an account, placing an order, or listing products on DimeCart, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date.

4. Buying on DimeCart

• Prices are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are set by sellers.
• Placing an order is an offer to purchase; the contract is formed when the seller accepts and processes it.
• Delivery and returns are governed by our Shipping Policy and Refund & Return Policy.

5. Selling on DimeCart

If you list products as a seller, you agree that you will:

• Offer only products you are legally entitled to sell, with accurate descriptions, images, pricing, and stock information;
• Fulfil accepted orders promptly and honour the marketplace shipping and refund standards;
• Comply with all applicable laws, taxes, and regulations relating to your products and business.

DimeCart may review, moderate, approve, reject, suspend, or remove listings or accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law.

6. Prohibited items and conduct

You may not use DimeCart to list, sell, or purchase illegal, counterfeit, unsafe, or restricted goods, or to engage in fraudulent, abusive, or infringing activity. You may not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the platform.

7. Payments

Payments are processed through the methods offered at checkout. You agree to pay all amounts due for your orders. DimeCart may use third-party payment providers; your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.

8. Intellectual property

The DimeCart name, logo, and platform content are owned by DimeCart or its licensors. Product content is owned by the respective sellers or their licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without permission.

9. Limitation of liability

DimeCart provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DimeCart is not liable for the acts or omissions of sellers or buyers, for the quality, safety, or legality of listed products, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of DimeCart after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
